THE IDEA started with one simple goal and that is to provide it’s readers: honest, practical, simple action steps to experience more balance and better relaxation in their lives.


As a nearly burned out physician in 2017 I found my safe haven in the local retreat centers and I immersed myself in workshops and R&R weekends. I consumed books on meditation, stress management and mindfulness to heal myself through my despair. If I could stay for extended periods of time at the retreat center I would. I was hooked!

If you read this far you already know how to be successful and busy. I know who you are: you sometimes work through lunches, you are driven and don’t have 4 hours to work out. You want efficient and effective  methods and tools that help move you forward in your life. And you want to do it with more balance and tranquility. You want to find that safe haven within yourself. I’m here to show you as your guide.

As I finally took a turn to self-empowerment I looked on the internet for a site that would help busy professionals navigate better relaxation and I couldn’t find one!

There was a strong body mind connection and I wrote more on wellness because of it. I want to share with you the lessons I’ve learned along this journey, and the mistakes I couldn’t avoid so that you can avoid them.

And up until a recent trip to the retreat center I realized so many of us need that mindfulness as professionals. We need that guidance of tips to stay rejuvenated and balanced while we  focused on helping others. I began to ask my colleagues, friends on what their best modalities on rest and relaxation were. I read numerous books on relaxation that I could get my hands on and meditated while I was going through the storms in my life.


Since then, I started this this website as a resource for people who want to learn more of ways to relaxation, eliminate stress and discover mindfulness, And on this site, I will share my learnings with you.

How I Create Content

All the content you will find on this site has been planned and edited by me to ensure we meet the highest quality standards. I do tend to use freelance writers to help me putting articles together but nothing is put online without a green light from me, the chief editor. This is to ensure all information we publish is accurate and you can trust to make purchase decisions.

As much as possible we try to get our hands on the items mentioned in this blog to get real-life experience with them but it is not always possible so we also rely on extensive online feedback from real customers of these items.

I also spend a lot of time researching  and talk to my colleagues and friends to get to know all the items that come out and which ones may be of interest to you.

All in all, I want this site to be a place you can trust and that is so you can use our information to make the best decisions for yourself when it comes to creating your own relaxation. It was something I was looking for in my journey to get here.

Is All This Just for Professionals?

Another one of my concerns is to make sure I create a community that in inclusive and to leave people better off or more informed than before.  There are 2 things we focus on:

1 – Mindfulness and Stress Techniques

Our motto is to keep it simple and time saving and to achieve better relaxation. If you want to help with this, just check the items we recommend out and use those :-).

2 – Reducing Stress at Home and Work

Stress contaminates a life in all aspects. No part is immune to its effects. So learning how to deal with stress at work will in part help at home as well. So if So the reviews are there to take the stress out of the research phase so you can focus on more valuable parts of the day. We help you pick items that will hopefully last you longer, you will both save money and help reduce the strain of time. It’s a win-win situation.
